Health monitoring data is collected for many reasons.
These include monitoring of drinking (potable), swimming pool
water and occupational health monitoring. It is often vital that
data is managed securely, and alerts are raised should issues
arise. Read more in this section on how MP-5 achieves this.
MP-5 handles water sampling data.
It has an automatic data importing system, which includes a
comprehensive alert system.
As soon as any unusual data or contaminants are
detected, either at warning or regulatory levels, email alerts are
sent. If required, alerts can be used to generate an incident
in the Monitor-Pro Incident Management System.
Regulatory notifications can also be raised.
MP-5 also contains comprehensive
trending and reporting capabilities.
MP-5 manages numerical monitoring
data collected from Occupational Health programmes. It collates
readings and automatically summarises by job type, department or
other user-defined Similar Exposure Group (SEG) to provide trending
and hotspot information. Alerts are raised by email when
warnings or other levels are breached.
Examples are:
- Noise exposure
- Dust exposure
- Biological testing such as blood lead, arsenic, mercury and
hepatitis testing.
- Screening programmes such as drug and alcohol testing
- Sickness absence
- Accident, incident and near miss numbers
- Number of inductions completed
Data security and
auditability is vital for personal and sensitive data such as
this. MP-5 has a secure login system with a full audit trail.
Records cannot be deleted.
