Key Benefits

  • Secure: Access to the system can be controlled via windows authentication or web based. Users can be granted access to all documents within the system, or only documents for certain locations/areas.
  • Collaboration: The system allows users to collaborate on a document, providing locking of records while users make their modifications, notifying collaboraters of other user's changes, and providing audit trails of all modifications.
  • Flexible Permissions Model: The system can be configured in many ways to allow users of specific roles or locations to have access to document information.
  • Auditable: All changes to the documents are recorded in the database, and the user can request an audit trail for a document at any point.
  • Access the system from anywhere: Being web based, users can access and collaborate on the information using just a web browser without requiring any installation of software. A rich interface is provided using asynchronous JavaScript and XML.
  • Flexible Graphing and Reporting: Graphing and reporting is provided using a combination of web reports, and highly configurable Excel, Access and Crystal reports.
  • Cause Analysis: Analyze the cause of an incident, and identify actions to take to. Use reports to find which problems occur the most, and under what circumstances.
  • Action Management: Actions can be automatically added when specific circumstances occur, and user can add further actions to complete. Action are then tracked and reported on, and user can be chased if they are not completed in a timely manner.
  • Document Alerts: Subscribe to receieve alerts for new/edit/closed documents at specific sites, or specific types of document, or just when specific events occur.. Staff members can be notified when they are allocated tasks, and chased if document or action they are responsible for are not resolved in a timely manner. Notifications can be escalated higher up the organisation should items still not be resolved.
  • Status Tracking: Document status can be tracked and reported on while the document progresses through the system (ending in closure), but also each role can define there own set of status options to record against a document.
  • Content Tailoring: Tailor the program to use your own terminology, Question Prompts, help text and all listed options (drop down lists, check lists etc) can all be altered by an administrator.
  • Web and Database Administration:User friendly web based administration, but also administration via SQL Management Studio or Access for advanced administrators, all methods maintain a full audit trail of changes.
