Occasionally you will need to make amendments to your database(s). The scripting part of the Admin Tool provides a means to do this without the need for SQL Server or database admin skills.
Scripts are basic text files created using Notepad or similar. They need their suffix to be renamed .sql instead of .txt.
To see suffixes you may need to change your Windows explorer options. To do this open Windows Explorer and from the menu choose tools... Folder Options. Select the View tab. Uncheck the box that says "hide extensions for known file types".
To run a script, go to the admin tool (for instructions see the link below) and click the "Run Script" button. Browse to the script and double click on it.
