Overview
To create, detach, attach or delete a database, to run a script or to add users you need to access the Admin tool, or if available use the SQL Server Enterprise Manager interface. This article details the admin tool.

There are two main ways to access the Admin tool – from the db admin button on the login screen or via the file.. menu once in the programme (close your database explorer window first).
You will be shown a server login screen.
If your database is on your desktop PC then leave the NT Authentication box checked, and type (local) - with the brackets, as your server name. You will not need a password. If the database is on a server, then you will need the server name, as well as a user name and password for the server (your Monitor-Pro login will not work).
Press OK and you will be taken to the admin tool (names blurred to protect the innocent in this example!
