On trying to run MP-5 get error -2147217865 "Could not find stored procedure 'sp_ListOptions'

In order to receive this error, you will have connected to a database (if you can't connect to a specified database then the error message says so.
A stored procedure is a form of database query. Sp_ListOptions is included in every MP-5 database. It is not, however included in a non MP-5 database.
Therefore the most usual explanation for this error is that you have connected to a non MP-5 database. Double-check your connection information.
To double-check your connection information, press cancel at the error screen. You will be taken to the login screen The database that has been to connected to will be detailed in the Database field. To create a new connection press the [...] button to go to the connections form. There is also a delete option here - delete the faulty connection. To replicate this error, create a new connection to the MonitorProSystem database on your server.
